Mythic Lockout Question. Alright, so we know that once you join a Mythic group, you are tied to Loot-based Lockout. You can kill a boss as many times per week as you like, but only loot once per difficulty: once in LFR, once in Normal, and once in Heroic. Applies to all raid bosses of the following expansions: Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Shadowlands, as well as Siege of Orgrimmar of Mists of Pandaria. This lockout doesn't apply to mythic+, however. So you can run every Dungeon on Mythic once per week and a mythic + dungeon as much as you'd like if you have the keystone for it. Edit: you can see all your lockout periods upon hitting 'O' and going to the 'Raid' tab, then hit 'Raid Info' at the top right and it should display every lockout!

Mythic raids work like that because Mythic raiding is the last part of the game left to people who play in dedicated groups the way WoW was before. Mythic difficulty's lockout works differently than the other raiding difficulties (Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic). In Mythic difficulty, you are bound to the raid ID. This means if you join a Mythic Mythic raiding is paced by the weekly lockout.
